Richard: Hello, Mr. Collagen. My name is Richard, and I am a publicity agent. Let’s discuss what commercial you would like to have.

Mr. Collagen:
Nice to meet you. OK, let’s brainstorm how we can promote this product. We’ve launched a new range of TV sets, and we would like to invite a celebrity to endorse it.

Richard: I think that would be much too expensive, just like sponsorship of a TV program or a sporting event.

Mr. Collagen: Maybe you’re right. This is out of the question. How about advertising on the radio? All you need for success is nice jingles and a catchy slogan.

Richard: You know, the efficiency of such advertising is controversial. It is difficult to put goods in the spotlight through such a commonplace approach. I would suggest addressing the media. You could order an article about your TV sets in a popular magazine or newspaper with many subscribers. It is always very good if a newspaper headline mentions your brand or even your slogan.

Mr. Collagen:
Nice idea. My friend is a freelancer and writes a gossip column in the Brilliance.  And I guess he can help with an accurate choice of a magazine.  He could even talk to an editor.

Richard: It is a fallible idea that your product can easily appear in a glamorous magazine. Such coverage also costs a lot. To make it newsworthy, you need a celebrity who uses your goods in real life – not just in the shot. If we could capture it, your TV sets would definitely be mentioned in all overviews, headlines and TV news. But I must tell you, it is a terrible blunder to think that such advertising can be free of charge. You should acknowledge that the budget won’t run to that.

Mr. Collagen: Yes. But you are only criticizing my ideas.  I can be prone to mistakes, as it’s not my job.

Richard: Don’t worry. We will probably take a public survey. Respondents will be asked a few questions, and we will find out the best way to endorse your TV sets. Only unbiased opinion will help us create a really persuasive, eye-catching and effective ad.  It might be a close-up picture of the product, or some subliminal logo in a magazine, or even leaflets.

Mr. Collagen: OK, whatever you do, I want the ad to be witty and sophisticated. I want you to use exotic locations and a shocking slogan. It must not only get people’s attention but also make them want the product and motivate them to buy our TV set.  I’m looking forward to your bright ideas tomorrow morning.

Publicity agent???? Where did you get it? Look up in the internet to find out what's it all about. This is a very marginal job, which can have nothing to do with goods promotion. And this is just the first random audio I bumped into! You are teching WRONG English! Is that because you mostly go for younger and incompetent teachers (cheaper though)?
